Half Life 2 Episode 3?

Half Life 2 was an amazing game when it came out. The Source engine did an incredible job, and the graphics were and still is amazing.

Valve then stated that instead of creating a direct sequel to save money and time. They would create episodic content for Half Life 2.

It's been a while since the release of Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2, and not to give out any real spoilers, but Episode 2 really left the story in a major cliffhanger!

Word had it that Episode 3 would soon follow, but that hasn't happened yet.

In fact, there is pretty much nothing on Episode 3, but a vague teaser trailer.

Half Life 2 Episode 2 came out October 10, 2007, and since then Valve released Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2!

These are great and fun games, but people kept asking 'where is Half Life Episode 3?'

Now there is rumor that Episode 3 will turn into Half Life 3.

Valve finally said something about Episode 3, and all they had to say was "Hang in there."

This for me is really annoying, because each E3 since 2007 I've looked up any info of Episode 3 to find nothing.

Here is hoping that this E3 2012 there will be something about Half Life Episode 3...
