Gaming Story

This was a few years ago, and my PSP was few months old. There was hardly any games out, and alot of people were complaining the lack of content. Finally word on a huge firmware update known as 2.0 firmware update would be released with the much anticipated web browser app.
The time came when news said it would be released on a date, (Not sure the date anymore or care to remember.) Anyway, and people on the psp message board eagerly awaited, and waited, and waited, and nothing. These people got very upset. The next day came, and gone with nothing and even more people got even more impatient and upset. The official message board had a set date, which wasn't kept, which ticked even more people up.
Then the fake "It's Out" posts started to pop all over the message board began. Almost a week of this, and hardly any word why it was so delayed. At least they could have given a little explanation to their loyal customers, but sadly no.
It eventually came out and everyone was happy, sorta...
The point? Well once you set a date for something and do not deliver. At least post some reason before allot of people get out of control and very upset. This is what Sony did, and it was a nightmare. Once they set a date up for the update and never gave a reason or apology for being late is the main reason why people went up the walls.
Also it's the people who couldn't wait fault to because they couldn't wait! I waited paciently unlike some people.

I thought people would learn from this lesson.

Present, as in today May 10th. There is a game on Xbox 360 called Crackdown, which people are eagerly waiting for download content, and the official word on the website today said it would be out on May 10th, which is today.
And right now nothing is out, and people are getting upset, and the fake "It's Out" Post are beginning to fly, and no explanation as to why this is happening, (no official announcement.)
The point? Well it's starting to happen all over again.
Dude if you going to run a business at least keep you happy customers, (many but not all,) happy and informed. That's what good business is all about.

Learn something before another mess happens.

The End.
