Well, the Crackdown update was a little late, and it didn't come out on the "stated date of May 10th 2007." It did come out in the very early morning of 2ish am of May 11th 2007.
This should have calmed the masses, but the update had hidden glitches, which made the masses even madder.
One of these glitches would n00bifie a players characters. Meaning, it would totally reset a player's characters to the basic beginning. Forcing them to start all over.
Ouch you say? Yes it is ouch, allot of hard work playing the game all gone in a second.
The upside? Well many people were complaining in the first place that they played all they can and there is nothing left to play. Well now, they can start all over again, and maybe play even better then they did the first time.
And the developers of Crackdown did post something about the glitch fairly quickly, but to some people not quick enough.
Other then that the new download packs is great and ads allot to revive more gameplay out of the game.
Just in case, my Crackdown character didn't get n00bified, and stayed intact. Yay me! Not everyone had their character reset. However, many other player's did get reset, and that's still not good.
