My Motorcycle: Choosing

I've been interesting in riding motorcycles for a while now, but haven't had chance too since I need a motorcycle endorsement to ride, and I need the motorcycle too.
I was looking into Honda for my motorcycle, and found some really nice used ones. One really nice Honda Nighthawk was very pretty, but there was a catch. The thing was in Europe! I don't want a Harley. I know they are cool and all, but I'm not into Harley’s. The only bike I really like that is a Harley is the V-Rod, and that bike cost allot.
I then gave up in looking for a motorcycle for sometime, until now.
Recently in passing on the road I saw this really nice looking sports bike, and I checked online for it. It is a Ktm 2007 SuperDuke 990.
Twin cylinder, 4-stroke, V 75°; 999cc...
Well with out going into that technical babble, it's a great bike from what I read.
Now all I need is my motorcycle endorsement, then I need the motorcycle, then I need the gear, helmet, boots pads...

Money...
Hopefully it won't take too long before I get all these things.
