As I stated before, I finally got my Nintendo Wii. Got it as a part of my birthday gift. It also took allot of effort in finding the Wii. At the time, every store with in 30 miles were sold out of Nintendo Wii's. I had to call every day multiple stores to see if they had in stock, and when I did find one I literally had to race down to the store in a car because all stores do not hold Wii's for anyone. It is first come first serve for everyone, which makes it even harder.
I eventually got the last one in stock!
I really like my Wii. Wii Sports game is very fun and very addictive, and it's even more fun when playing with family and friends.
I just wish that the Wii had more online gaming. Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii are really great games playing online, but those are the only 2 games I can think of that have great online components.
Also the trading friend codes things is a little bit of a hassle. You trade your Wii friend codes with a family or friend and they do the same back to you. However, one has to trade different codes for each Wii game that has online gameplay, which makes it more of a hassle. I know that this more of a protection to prevent spamming, but it's just my opinion.
The ironic thing is now that I have a Nintendo Wii, I am bumping to them practically every store now. There is gaming news article mentioning that there will be another Wii shortage this coming Christmas season 2008, but I keep bumping into them now.
