Gaming: Animal Crossing City Folk

Animal Crossing City Folk, the latest game in the Animal Crossing series has finally come out for the Nintendo Wii.
Animal Crossing City Folk or AC CF for short was revealed at E3 2008 with allot of concerns from the fans with what they saw.
They saw a game unchanged from the previous Animal Crossing games instead of a major leap they'd hope to see. At the time they hoped that the game was very early in development, and allot could change before it will be released. However, the changes the fans where hopping when AC CF was released last week Sunday, November 16 2008 never happened.
Many fans were crushed that the game was too much like the previous Animal Crossing games, (I wasn't crushed, but was slightly disappointed that they didn't take the effort to make innovative changes to Animal Crossing City Folk.)
Notable changes to Animal Crossing City Folk are online multiplayer through Nintendo WFC service. People now can visit their friend’s towns with out leaving the comfort of their homes.
Another change which is pretty good is the addition of a brand new Wii accessory called Wii Speak, which allows people for the first time to voice chat with their friends, and AC CF is the first game to fully utilize this accessory. More on Wii Speak in other blogs.
What has allot of fans disappointed is AC CF's unchanged gameplay from the previous Animal Crossing. They complain that there was so much potential that could have been added to the game but wasn't because of Nintendo's casual attitude.

As I said before I personally like Animal Crossing City Folk because I have an open mind towards games.
However, I do understand what people and reviewers are complaining about with AC FC.
I agree that they could have added and changed the game allot more that it wouldn't be so much similar to previous Animal Crossing Wild World and Animal Crossing for the Gamecube.
However, AC CF is still a stable game, that changes from day to day.

So If your new to Animal Crossing, the I highly recommend Animal Crossing City Folk for the entire family.
If you have played previous Animal Crossing games then I suggest you rent it first.
